
COUNSELING
Our clinician believes in empowering individuals to "get back to the basics" by focusing on healing the mind and body. Our clinician specializes in working with clients experiencing unwanted physical symptoms. We offer solutions focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive based therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. Sessions last between 45- 75 minutes depending on individual or family session.

BIOFEEDBACK
Is the process of becoming aware of what is going on in your body. Biofeedback equipment will be used to gain awareness and control of certain functions of the body such as muscle tension, skin conductance, heart rate, breathing, and pain perception. Biofeedback may be used to improve health, performance, and the physiological changes that often occur in conjunction with changes to thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Eventually, these changes may be maintained without the use of extra equipment, for no equipment is necessarily required to practice biofeedback. Sessions last either 30 or 45 minutes.

NEUROFEEDBACK
Is a form of biofeedback training that enables the client to alter their brain waves by creating new neural pathways and/or reconnecting impaired ones. Just like with biofeedback, when a person is made aware of what is happening in their body, they can learn to change them. You can think of it as exercise for the brain. Session options 30 or 45 minutes as decided in initial intake.
